WHO WE ARE
Hey, welcome to our page! We are a group of people who love the environment and want to educate others on the environment and help them come to love it as much as we do. Are goal is to educate others on why its necessary to protect our environmnet and all the animals that live in it. We also love to do projects involving how we can improve the environment and enter these in competitions. In the Fall of 2020 we won the Purple Plow Challenge where we tried to find ways you can use egg cartons. At first it was tough because our ideas weren't working, but in the end we learned that you can use them as planters. Which actually lead us to learning that you can plant with your leftover food scraps.
​You might be wondering why we care so much about the environment? Well the environment has provided so many necessities in our live for us like water, wood, soil, and even oxygen. The world would be so different without any of these. Imagine if one day you looked outside and all the beutiful trees you admire are suddenly gone. Or what if pollution got so out of hand that you could no longer see the sunset because the smog is covering it up. If we don't take charge in fixing our mistakes and the wrongs we've done to the environment that could be a possibilty. Helping to improve the environment is going to be a long journey, but that doesn't mean we get to give up. Even if you ride a bus to school or walk instead of your parents driving you that can help.
WHAT WE DO
We educate others with ways they can help the ecosystem, and this is done in a variety of ways. For instance we researched fast fashion and shared some facts we learned through the announcments at are school. We also made memes with some of these facts and put it on posters. A project were working on right now is a school garden where each student will get to plant a plant in the garden to show we are connected. We also do clean ups where we'll pick up trash for a couple of hours. Theres are also competitons we'll enter with a project we've done with the knowldge that was learned like the Purple Plow Competiton stated above.
